15 Burnt oil trace in exhaust line .

Possible fault Remedy

Oil level too high . Verify .

Faulty turbocharger . Check, Repair / Replace .

Excessive wear of cylinder / pis-

ton, piston rings.

Check compression; refurbish

engine.

16 Idle speed >750-800 RPM

Possible fault Remedy

Low battery voltage . On normal functioning: If the

battery voltage is lower than

13.5 V increase engine speed

to 1050 RPM until the voltage

is 13.5 Volt .

Coolant temperature lower than

40 °C (104 °F).

On normal functioning: Run the

engine at a speed of 900 RPM

until the coolant temp is over

40 °C (104 °F) .

Wrong indication of tachometer. Adjust /replace .

Fault on electric -electronic

equipment.

Check/repair.
